My standard gear is:

  • Nikon D800e body

This robust, metal-bodied camera shoots at a rate of 4fps and ​1080p HD video - with a whopping 36mp Full-Frame CMOS sensor. It has a 51-point AF system and a very wide ISO range; 100-25,600.

  • AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR

To back up this great camera, you need a great all-purpose lens - and this is it.​ Super fast focus speed and crisp, colourful pictures at any focal length.

  • AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G

When you want a little more light and speed, try this snazzy little fixed focal length lens out for size. Great image quality and amazing in low-light.​
